These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the conditions for using Pushany (“the Service”). The Service is operated by Pushany Operations Office (“the operator”), an individual. How we handle personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By signing in, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are a minor, please obtain consent from a parent or guardian before using the Service.
2. Description of the Service
The Service is an app (PWA) for sending information between your own devices, and for keeping and sharing notes and more. Its main features are:
Tray: send text, links, files and clipboard contents to your other devices
Notes: keep notes (with version history, tags, attachments, a trash and locked notes)
Checklists: manage to-dos, shopping and other items
Notifications and reminders: notify your devices when you send something or at a time you set
Sharing: share notes and checklists with other users
Share links: share a file by link with someone who does not use the Service
Agent integration: read and write your data in the Service from AI agents such as ChatGPT and Claude, and from agents running on your PC
API keys: use the Service from iPhone Shortcuts and the PC agent
End-to-end encryption (E2EE): content is encrypted on your device before it is sent. E2EE is on from the start and cannot be turned off
Import & export: import notes and other data, or export them to files
We may add, change or remove features without notice.
3. Your account
You create your account and sign in with a Google, GitHub or X account. Each sign-in method creates a separate account. To use the same account with more than one method, link them in Settings after signing in. Once your account is created, you can also sign in with a passkey you add in Settings.
You are responsible for managing the account you sign in with, the devices you are signed in on, and your API keys. If you believe an API key has been leaked, delete it in Settings immediately.
You must not let anyone else use your account, or transfer or sell it.
Actions taken with your account are treated as your own, except where they result from the operator's intent or negligence.
4. Your content
Rights in what you send or save (text, files, notes and so on — “your content”) remain with you. They do not pass to the operator.
The operator handles your content only to the extent needed to provide the Service: storing it, copying it (including backups), delivering it to your devices, converting it for display, and providing it through share links you create.
We do not use your content for any other purpose (such as advertising).
The operator does not view your content, except where required by law, or to the minimum extent needed to resolve a problem or investigate a breach of these Terms. Encrypted content (E2EE and share links) cannot be read by the operator. This does not apply to content covered by permission for agents to read it, while that permission is on (see section 8).
You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the content you send, and for ensuring that it does not violate the law or these Terms.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
Store or send content that is illegal or contrary to public order and morals (including illegal material such as child sexual abuse material)
Store, send or distribute viruses, malware or other harmful programs
Infringe the rights of others, such as copyright, trademarks, privacy or reputation
Use the Service to harass, threaten, impersonate or defraud anyone
Use share links to distribute files in large numbers to the general public (including using the Service as a file-distribution service or as file hosting for other websites)
Overload the Service with large numbers of requests or automation, or attempt to circumvent storage or rate limits
Attempt to access other people's accounts or data, or otherwise gain unauthorized access
Reverse engineer the Service for the purpose of attacking it, or exploit its vulnerabilities
Resell the Service or provide it to others
Do anything similar to the above
If you find a vulnerability, please do not exploit it. We would appreciate it if you reported it through Contact.
6. Share links
Anyone who has a share link can download the file without signing in.
Share links expire after a set period (listed on the Plans page). You can disable a link at any time before then. It is also disabled when you move the original file to the trash.
The file is encrypted on your device with a key unique to that link before it is stored. The key is contained only in the part of the link after “#”, which is never sent to our server. As a result, the operator cannot see the file's contents.
You are responsible for whom you give the link to and what you share. Please make sure the file is appropriate to share.
The operator may disable a share link, for example after receiving a report that it violates these Terms.
7. Storage and rate limits
Usage of the Service is subject to limits, such as storage and the number of devices that receive notifications. The limits are listed on the Plans page.
If you perform many actions in a short time (writing, uploading, creating share links, signing in and so on), you will be temporarily limited.
We may change these limits.
8. End-to-end encryption (E2EE)
If you lose your recovery key and no device still holds your encryption keys, nobody — not even the operator — can recover your encrypted content. Your recovery key is never sent to the server, so the operator cannot reissue it or restore your data. You are responsible for keeping your recovery key in a safe place, such as a password manager.
E2EE is on from the moment you first use the Service and cannot be turned off. Items you send after encryption starts are encrypted.
A new device receives the encryption keys when you approve it from a device you already use. To approve, you enter the code shown on the new device on the approving device. Do not approve requests you do not recognize, and never enter a code someone else gives you.
Some information is not encrypted, such as dates, the number of items, file sizes and types, your account name (@name) and device names. See How encryption works for details.
Text and links sent from Shortcuts are encrypted by our server as soon as they arrive. Files sent from Shortcuts are not encrypted.
While you allow an agent to read your content, the content it covers can be decrypted on the operator's server. For a shared note or checklist, the owner or an admin can turn on this permission, and while it is on, that note or checklist is covered. The permission turns off automatically when the agent hasn't used it for a while or after a set period. See the Privacy Policy for details.
When you export, encrypted items are decrypted on your device and saved unencrypted. Take care where you store the exported files.
9. Fees
The Service is currently provided free of charge as a beta.
We plan to add a paid monthly plan with the official release. If we do, we will present its terms, including price, payment methods and how to cancel, in the app before the plan starts. The paid plan's terms apply only to users who subscribe to it.
What is available for free may change.
10. Suspension and account deletion
If you violate these Terms, or there is a strong likelihood that you have, the operator may take the following measures to the extent necessary:
Disable share links
Delete the content in question
Suspend or delete your account
Except in urgent cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance through in-app notices, together with the reason.
You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). Deleting your account erases your saved data, and this cannot be undone.
11. Changes to and termination of the Service
The operator may add, change or remove features of the Service.
If we discontinue the Service, we will notify you as early as we can and try to leave time for you to export your data (Settings → Import & export).
However, in unavoidable circumstances — such as disasters, the shutdown of an outside service we rely on, or legal requirements — the notice period may be shorter, or we may be unable to give notice.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is operated by an individual and provided “as is”. We do not guarantee:
That the Service will always be available without interruption
That notifications will always be delivered, or delivered immediately (delivery also depends on push services such as Apple, Google and Mozilla, and on your browser and OS settings)
That your saved data will never be lost
That the Service is fit for your purpose or free of defects
That unauthorized access or data leaks will never occur (our security measures are described in the Privacy Policy, but no system can prevent them completely)
Most of what you save is encrypted on your device before we store it (8). As a result, even if data were leaked from our servers, the encrypted content could not be read. However, information that is not encrypted, such as dates, sizes and account names (@names), and files sent from Shortcuts, could be leaked in readable form. In addition, while you allow an agent to read your content, your content itself could be read if our servers were compromised.
Please keep your own copies of important data. You can export it from Settings → Import & export.
13. Limitation of liability
The operator is liable, in accordance with the law, for damage you suffer in connection with the Service where the operator acted intentionally or negligently.
If the operator was only slightly negligent (not grossly negligent), the operator's liability is limited to direct damage that would ordinarily arise, up to the following amount:
If you are on a paid plan: the greater of 10,000 yen or the fees you paid in the 12 months before the damage occurred
If you use the Service free of charge: 10,000 yen
These limits do not apply if the operator acted intentionally or with gross negligence (in accordance with Japan's Consumer Contract Act).
If information is leaked or lost due to unauthorized access or a cyberattack by a third party, or an outage or incident at an outside service we use (such as Cloudflare), the operator is not liable provided that it had taken the necessary security measures. Where the operator was only slightly negligent, the limits above apply.
The operator is not liable for damage arising from causes on your side, such as losing your recovery key, failing to manage the account you sign in with, your devices or your API keys, how you distribute share links, or where you store exported files, unless the operator acted intentionally or negligently. Content provided to an agent is handled under the policies of that agent's provider (such as OpenAI or Anthropic), and the operator is not liable for how that provider handles it.
14. Changes to these Terms
The operator may change these Terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or in the Service. Changes will be limited to what is necessary for that purpose and reasonable in content.
Before a change takes effect, we will announce the revised Terms and their effective date on this page and in the app. Changes that are unfavorable to you will be announced with as much notice as we reasonably can.
If you continue to use the Service after the effective date, you agree to the revised Terms.
15. Governing law, jurisdiction and general provisions
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
The Yokohama District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute relating to the Service. This does not affect any right you have as a consumer under the law to bring a claim in another court.
If any part of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining parts remain in effect.
If the Japanese and English versions of these Terms differ, the Japanese version prevails.
16. Contact
